The Insurance Sales Framework (ISF) is an all-in-one component that permits consumers to access quotes, compare plan benefits and enroll themselves quickly and easily.

Bloom’s Dental Insurance Store, a free service built on the ISF platform, saves consumers time and money by locating dental plans from national providers, displays the benefits to each, and allows consumers wanting to purchase to self-enroll in just minutes. The convenience our ISF provides the Dental Insurance Store gives consumers the self-assurance to self-insure.

The ISF consists of three important facets:

1) Plan Selection :

ISF’s plan selection capability aids in comparisons by offering convenient side-by-side displays and filtering based on select criteria.

What this means for prospects: Makes them better informed to choose dental plans best suited for their personal needs.

2) Quotes :

ISF’s quote feature is extremely flexible. This adaptability allows quotes on multiple dental plans and enables consumers to compare plans side-by-side.

What this means for prospects: Prospects enjoy full transparency with no hidden fees, and experience the convenience to peruse plan information from top to bottom and side-to-side.

3) Electronic Applications :

ISF saves time for prospects by auto-populating information a prospect provided earlier. This saves them time and minimizes the possibility of an application error.

What this means for prospects: Prospects experience error-free applications and that means quicker effective dates and time for more enjoyable tasks.

The Insurance Sales Framework Delivers

Since launching the Dental Insurance Store with the ISF platform as its backbone, Bloom has received comments like “Easy to understand,” Looks great,” “It’s inviting” and “I love your site.”

The Insurance Sales Framework (ISF) helps agents to easily transition from quoting benefits and plan details to providing prospects a smooth and professional enrollment experience.

Bloom Agents use the ISF to easily handle the discussion of insurance benefits, quote premiums and submit applications directly from our secure web servers to the appropriate insurance carrier, all without consulting a single sheet of paper.

The ISF consists of three vital components:

1) Quotes :

The ISF’s quote feature is as flexible as it is functional. This flexibility allows Agents to quote multiple insurance products, empowering them to respond to specific client needs.

What this means for consumers: Consumers spend less time shopping for insurance products and obtain pin-point accuracy in their quotes.

What this means for Agents: The ISF provides instant access to available plans, plan benefits, premiums and the appropriate application form. This paperless process enables a seamless transition from quoting a plan to closing a sale.

2) Plan Selection :

The ISF’s plan selection capability allows for filtering based on select criteria and offers convenient side-by-side comparisons.

What this means for consumers: Consumers have no waiting time in comparing plan types or product options.

What this means for Agents: Agents are better able to help prospects understand plan differences, advantages and comparisons so prospects are fully engaged in their decision making.

3) Electronic Applications :

The ISF’s electronic application eliminates paper applications, minimizes application errors through an auto-population feature that keeps agents from entering duplicate information and checks different databases such as Infocrossing and the USPS for eligibility and address verification.

What this means for consumers: Consumers benefit from a more efficient and pleasant enrollment experience and may refer others to their Agent.

What this means for Agents: The ISF helps agents minimize errors and increase efficiency so there is more time to work at additional sales.

Our Insurance Sales Framework is a silent partner for agents often hampered by the necessity of consulting lines of rate tables, binders chock full of benefit summaries and a confusing array of application forms. Our ISF will help reduce agent error, customer aggravation and lost sales by organizing this clutter of information.

Sherman caught the “marketing bug” while co-producing a PBS series on the 1984 presidential election. You might say his career has gone viral ever since.

Working in various positions at FitchMeyer Enterprises before rising to chief marketing officer, Sherman was responsible for the health care direct marketing agency’s tremendous growth. The agency received widespread recognition when it made Inc. magazine’s 1991 list of America’s fastest growing businesses.

Sherman joined Finelight in 1992, leading the company’s seamless transition from a small design and photography studio to a full-service marketing agency specializing in serving the health care industry. Always the entrepreneur, Sherman used his insurance industry knowledge and direct response marketing experience to start a call center for Finelight clients. In 2007 he saw the need and potential in Medicare Advantage sales and founded Bloom from scratch.

That Bloom was an idea whose time had come was evident by its explosive growth since its opening. Sherman’s leadership has been instrumental in that growth, personally developing Bloom’s “Do No Harm” mission of complete transparency and compliance for Medicare beneficiaries and Bloom clients. Sherman enjoys finding innovative solutions to regulatory and business problems and has instilled a philosophy of technological evolution and flexibility in Bloom that should ensure success for Bloom’s clients far into the future.

Brooke started as a sales agent on the phone at Bloom and has successfully worked her way up to become the leader of our business development team—both for technology and our contact center. She is a skilled diplomatic liaison between clients, vendors, and staff at Bloom. Brooke’s understanding of compliance and the sales make her an incredibly valuable asset to both Bloom and our clients.

Since 2007, Brooke has led the Bloom sales team to the successful submission of over 70,000 Medicare Advantage, Medicare supplement, Final Expense life, and dental insurance applications. She also oversees DentalInsuranceStore.com and has been instrumental in leading Bloom’s new field sales compliance and management products, Ascend, and other business development opportunities.

Quite frankly, Brooke is Bloom’s biggest cheerleader because she has seen it grow and change from every angle imaginable. The highlight of her job is reaching out to people and telling them Bloom’s unique story and how we can keep them compliant and make their lives easier.

Brooke is also an exceptional manager who specializes in bringing people and groups together to achieve collective success. Which is exactly why she’s been such an instrumental leader for Stages Bloomington—a children’s theater company of which she is a teacher and the president.

Phil is a driven leader with an established background for growing business. He oversees an administrative staff of managers, sales managers, project engineers and client reporting staff. Phil has been involved with Bloom even before it’s inception—he spearheaded the growth of Bloom’s precursor, the Finelight contact center.

Since day one he has been mission critical to Bloom through processes, traffic campaign and contract development. Day-to-day he focuses on the operational responsibilities— upgrades to systems, technology, and expansion of equipment and staffing.

Phil is a proven, invaluable liaison between the contact center and the IT department. While he balances a lot on the job, he learned at an early age as a sharpshooter for the Marines the value of operating efficiently. If you don’t find Phil working at Bloom, chances are he’s out racing or following the Motorcycle Road Racing Grand Prix.

Catherine took a very different road to reach Bloom. Originally from England, she majored in Linguistics, studied in Spain and has worked in telecommunications in Panama and Belgium. Today she manages the crucial functions of regulatory compliance, in-house quality assurance and compliance, staff training and customer reporting. This includes the management of various activity reports for Bloom and its clients, and the analysis of campaign and agent performance data.

Since Catherine started at Bloom, she has revolutionized how agents are trained, how they are monitored and how they are reeducated, if necessary. Her two goals are to protect beneficiaries and relationships with clients by developing the most qualified and compliant sales agent’s possible. The system she has put in place to ensure this, goes beyond that of industry standards and has virtually erased the number of complaints.

Catherine’s telecommunications background is in bridging technology and business demands, data analysis, reporting, training and campaign management. She has single-handedly brought the compliance and training sides of Bloom together. She is also responsible for creating the reporting structure at Bloom.

Catherine is dedicated to improving the way Medicare products are sold. As part of Ascend, she developed our quality program for agents, which improves the on-boarding experience and star rankings.
